Middlesbrough Football Club has been delivering school sports programmes and holiday programmes for nearly 20 years. In recent years, the Foundation has progressed on to delivering curriculum physical education for primary schools.

All project deliverers are trained to an FA Level 2 standard in football coaching, but are also completing a level 3 qualification in the delivery of Physical Education in Primary Schools. They also have a range of sporting qualifications including level one qualifications in handball, table tennis, badminton and netball.

We work in over 30 primary schools across the Tees Valley and our holiday courses reach over 500 children each year.

In addition to sports courses, MFC Foundation provides educational qualifications to young people and adults. These run both in school time and on an evening.

MFC Foundation also runs health courses, promoting how to life a healthy lifestyle. MFC Foundation owns a single-decker Arriva bus which visits local communities to promote a positive health message in deprived areas of Teesside.
