Additional Information

Code of Conduct

  • Fighting, bullying and swearing are unacceptable and will not be permitted – this is inclusive of parents also.
  • Children must not leave the session at any time without the permission from the coach.
  • Mobile phones and other electronic devices should not be used during the day by any child. If a child needs to contact home our staff will have contact details and will be in possession of mobile phones. If our staff see children using these devices when asked not to, they have the right to confiscate them until the end of the day.
  • We reserve the right to exclude any child/parent if in our opinion; the child/parent is not adhering to the code of conduct or behaving in an appropriate manner.


Liability and Photography

  • We do not accept any liability for the loss or damage to any property belonging to any person attending our courses.
  • MK Dons SET staff will only take pictures of participants to be used for advertising and promotion. The images/videos are for our use only and are not passed on to third parties. Please inform us in writing if you have any objections.


Parents / Guardians Responsibility

  • Ensure that your child arrives on time and is collected on time.
  • Ensure that your child is registered with the coach at the beginning of each session.
  • Please inform us of any disabilities, injuries or medications that may be required.
  • Please inform us if anyone other than yourself is collecting your child at the end of the course.
  • Ensure all players are wearing appropriate training kit for the weather conditions, including shin pads.
  • Ensure players have plenty of fluids (non-fizzy) for their session.


General Points

  • You will be informed immediately if an injury occurs to your child whilst attending our course.
  • There will be no refunds for cancellations once the course has already started.
  • If unforeseen circumstances result in a cancelled date(s), then we will endeavour to make up the appropriate hours but we cannot guarantee this. If we cannot make up the hours, we will issue a credit note for the amount of the missed session. This only applies to skills centres sessions.
  • If your child is unwell on the day of a course we need to be notified on the day. If it is a holiday course they are booked on, we will issue a credit note, only if notified on the day.
  • No food or refreshments are permitted inside the Dome, other than non-fizzy drinks for the players.



  • Safeguarding young people and adults at risk is the responsibility of everyone and MK Dons Sport and Education Trust (SET) is determined that all people working for and with the SET are well prepared to meet this responsibility.
  • All MK Dons SET coaches hold an enhanced DBS and have undertaken an FA Emergency Safeguarding course and an in-house single-agency safeguarding course, and are all first-aid trained.

  • If your child has an issue or concern around their safety or wellbeing this is to be reported immediately to the lead coach. If the lead coach is the subject of the issue, please report to an alternative member of staff.


Claiming Discounts

  • Sibling discount - save 10% on your total booking when you book on 2 or more siblings.
  • Group booking - save 10% on your total booking if you book on a group of 5 or more children onto the same course.
  • Young Dons discount - Young Dons members are entitled to a 15% discount off their total booking.
  • Discounts can only be applied on over-the-phone bookings. Please provide us with the type of discount you would like to claim, and provide us with the Young Dons membership number/s if applicable, at the time of booking.
