Nottingham Forest in the Community deliver high quality football, physical activity and education programmes.

Nottingham Forest in the Community offer a wide range of diverse and engaging sessions. We work within 5 key areas, these being; Education, Football Development, Inclusion, Health and Fitness and NCS.

Each of our core areas a largely important to us and we want to grow and develop these areas in order to reach out to as many people as possible, we want to make a difference.

Nottingham Forest in the Community aim to help individuals achieve their goals, we believe every young person has the entitlement to access high quality support networks. Encouraging participation is a crucial element of a young person’s education, whatever their ability.

Delivering physical activity sessions and health improvement messages to 75 Primary schools across the city of Nottingham. Encouraging children aged 5 - 11 to take a full and active part in skills practices, fundamental movement exercises and team games and offering pathways to football and other sports provision in out of school hours.

We offer great football development; our coaching team has carefully put together technical programmes that cover a wide range of football disciplines including control, passing, dribbling, finishing, heading, goalkeeping and match play. Our coaches use a variety of methods to allow children to learn, develop and improve at their own pace in a group environment.

Nottingham Forest in the Community uses the power of football to help break down barriers and use football as a tool to build a more positive future. Premier League Kicks continues to be our flagship inclusion project and its success has resulted in a decline in anti-social crime in the Clifton area in 12-18 year olds.

The health and well-being of our local communities is of high importance to us and we are committed to providing engagement and participation projects. Using sport as the tool to engage, we have been able to achieve outcomes, providing unique services that cater for specific group or individual needs. Partnership work with key health and sports organisations is integral to the success of these projects, aiding the learning outcomes and social interaction within the projects.
