These sessions will be focused around enjoyment and participation. In the most part, the coaches will use fun activities and game based practices to develop and challenge the children. In addition to the technical and tactical development of the children, we will look to embed the Trusts values within the day.  Whether they are confident players looking to develop their technique, or they have never played and are looking for an introduction to the game, they will find our Soccer Schools are an environment that allows them to flourish.
At the end of the course, every child is praised for completing the course and receives an official Reading FC gift to take home and keep. It’s an ideal chance for any child who enjoys running around, to channel their energy into sports participation!
Please note, parents/guardians of participants who have epilepsy should notify the Trust before booking  sessions so the specificities of the child’s condition can be discussed in detail to ensure their health and safety is prioritised.
Please note at this time we can not accept the following disabilities /medical conditions:
Peg feeding
Note: Any Lost property can only be held for 10 days after the last session
Reading FC Community Trust cannot be held responsible for anything that comes to light after the booking is made and may jeopardise any treatment in the event of an accident.
Children attending courses should not be let unsupervised at the venue until the course day starts and ends.
We expect parents/guardians to collect their children promptly at the end of the session. If children are not collected within 30 minutes the relevant action will be taken to ensure the safety of the child.

When attending sessions, neither the Pupil nor the Parent/Carer/Guardian will be suffering from any contagious illness, disease, injury, or anything similar. It is the Parent/Carer/Guardian responsibility to inform Reading FC Community Trust about any condition that could affect their child’s performance during sessions. You agree to inform us of any changes, as soon as you become aware of them by contacting the office (see below).

Emergency evacuation purposes: Please inform the coaching team if you intend to leave the session early for any reason.

For insurance purposes: Please keep siblings, buggies, and associated equipment off the playing area at all times.

Foods hazard: Food will only be eaten during organised breaks and should not be eaten during any football/ sports session to avoid the hazard of choking.

Safeguarding & Child protection: To comply with our ‘Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy’ and best practice, we request that parents/carers DO NOT take photographs or videos at sessions. Our coaches will do their best to enforce this; however, due to the nature of their works during sessions, no guarantee is given that they can enforce this. On occasions, Reading FC community Trust may organise photo shoots, but if only parental consents have been obtained.

Our Classes: Are designed with pupil’s physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development in mind. Moving children into classes before a certain age could be challenging for them and detrimental to their progress. We have therefore, applied a minimum and maximum age to each level, which is based around these considerations and must be adhered to. Reading FC Community Trust may decide to move children up age groups dependent on their physical, technical and mental ability.
