SWFCCP Community Programme soccer/multi sports and Education programme

Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme is the football club's charitable arm, established to support the development of cohesive communities around South Yorkshire and to seek to increase engagement, training provision and support amongst its residents working across four key themes; Participation, Social Inclusion, Health and Well Being and Education.

We endeavor to encourage confidence, active lifestyle and participation of sport regardless of gender, ethnicity and disability.The community programme within the club carryout PPA and after school delivery in over 40 Schools within the City of Sheffield and surrounding areas All the programmes that are delivered will involve football and multi sports with the main objective of fun and learning being at the forefront of all the activities.

Disability groups and low level participation sports are catered for on all occasions when required. We endeavour to show progression in learning, by delivering FUN skill challenges for the children to assess their development. We have a highly qualified and experienced work force that can manage and deliver many activities with all ages and abilities of children.

All the staff are CRB checked, Football Association 1st aid and Safe Guarding Children qualified, this shows that the staff are fully aware of all the current regulations required for the programme.
