AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust collect specific information/data about you/your child/children when you/they participate in our activities or sign up to a future activity or session. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes the types of personal data you provide, and/or we collect, what we may do with that personal data and your rights. ‘Personal data’ is defined defined in the DPA and is essentially information from which an individual person can be identified. By submitting information, you signify your consent to us using your personal data in accordance with the below.
How we use your personal data
We request that the information you provide is as accurate as possible as this allows us to secure your privacy by differentiating you from others. Periodically we may send you an email asking you to
“Update your Details”.
We Collect:
- Participants name, age, gender, medical conditions, emergency contact details (this includestelephone numbers and email address), full postal address and postcode.
- Parent/Guardianname, email address and telephone number (where necessary).
- Cardor other payment details in relation to services you purchased from us.
To perform the services you have requested, such as sending you information about our activities, updates on session times/venues, session availability. We will NEVER share your financial information with third parties for any reason other than processing transactions, fraud and credit risk protection, unless we have your explicit consent.
This data will be viewed by AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust staff only. Where necessary certain data will be shared with the Premier League for partner activities and events, prior notice will be requested in these circumstances, to:
- Produceregisters for activities
- Togather statistics to access future funding
- Producestatistics for reporting on current funding
- Provide dataon local engagement
- Contactdetails for parent/guardian of participant
- Emergencycontact details for participant
Parents or legal guardians should supervise minors when online and we recommend parental control tools be put in place. Any minor using services offered is confirming that they have received the consent of their parent or guardian to do so.
Why we collect this information:
This information is deemed to be a requirement of attending the activities/sessions provided by AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust. The Trust requires contact/medical information for each participant at their sessions to ensure the safety of the participant.
Your data is stored:
We have strict controls over how and why your data can be accessed.
We use VIEWS, provided by the Premier League, to store your data. VIEWS is based in Europe your data will not be transferred outside of this area.
EFL Official Soccer Schools website – when using this website to sign up to our holiday soccer schools, you agree to the terms of use by completing the registration form.
SAGE accounting system – suppliers information is stored within this system. When you sign up to our activities you agree to your data being stored in this way.
As a participant we may contact you from time to time to ask for your feedback on how to improve our sessions and monitor the diversity of our participation.
Keeping your data secure:
We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data, which is held in secure data centres in the United Kingdom in accordance with current legislative requirements, industry standards and technology. We will keep the personal data you have provided for as long as we have a relationship with you; once that relationship has ended, we will retain it in accordance with this Policy only for as long as we reasonably require, and it will then be deleted and destroyed.
Once your personal data is received, we store it as set out in this Policy. Financial information you provide is also encrypted for additional security. We cannot guarantee the complete security of our databases, nor that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the internet.
Your information will remain on the VIEWS system until you cease to attend any of our activities/sessions or you request removal of the data.
Disclosing your information:
AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust will not share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we do not pass on your details to other websites.
In addition, there are some other reasons why we may disclose your personal information to third parties and these are as follows:
- If we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal dataheld by us about customers will be one of the transferred assets;
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legalobligation, or to enforce or apply our terms of use or terms and conditions of supply of any of the services provided by us and other agreements; and or
- To protect the rights, property, or safety or us, our customers or others.This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- Specific information will be shared with the Premier League for partner activities and fundingpurposes, and the company accountants.

Access Your Personal Information:
You have the right to see a copy of the information that we hold about you. We may charge a small fee towards the cost of administering any request you make. The current fee is £10.00.
Update and Amend Your Personal Information:
You have the right to ask that the information we hold about you is correct by contacting us as above. We encourage you to update your personal information promptly if it changes.
Opt-out of Being Contacted:
You have the right to ask that we stop contacting you by contacting by the method above.
Delete Your Personal Information:
You (and any parent/guardian of a minor) have the right to request that we delete your personal information from our database. We will make all reasonable efforts to comply with this request. However, it may not be possible to delete an entry without some delay and without retaining some residual personal information because of backups and records of deletions (including to ensure we no- longer communicate with you) or because we are required to retain personal information for other lawful requirements.
