Blackpool FC Community Trust girls Emerging Talent Centre trials for u13/4s for the 2024/25 season (girls who will be in Year 8 or 9 in school in September 2024).
These sessions are for high ability players who may have the potential ability to train in an FA funded programme. Girls’ Emerging Talent Centres across the nation will increase and diversify the talent pool and gives more girls than ever the chance to take their first steps on the pathway towards playing professional football and following in the footsteps of the inspirational Lionesses.
Our ETC is completely free of charge, and all girls will be part of an elite player programme which gives them access to paid football coaches, strength and conditioning staff, goalkeeper coaches and access to a physio. If successful, you will be invited into the 30 week programme which will run September 2024 to May 2025. The ETC train every Friday evening at the following times: u9/10s and u11/12s 6-8pm; u13/14s and u15/16s 7-9pm.
All successful players are allowed to carry on training with their current teams and playing Saturday/Sunday too. Our ETC will organise friendly fixtures approximately every 4-6 weeks versus other girls ETC or Pro Game Academy programmes.
