Walking Football - Tiptree (9) - November - January (9)

Walking Football is a variant of Association Football aimed at keeping males and females aged over 50 actively involved in football, targeting the basic elements of a match by slowing the game down to a more leisurely pace. Though based on Association Football, there are a few differences in the rules. As the name suggests, running is not permitted in this format of the game, and any instances will result in a free-kick. This restriction, together with a ban on slide tackles, significantly reduces the likelihood of injuries, therefore enhancing cardiovascular fitness whilst placing little stress on the body. This session will take place on Mondays between 6:00pm and 7:00pm
